..Flawless!
This is a great hall and the night was very well presented. Great mixture of music, superb atmosphere and no problems with the bar what so ever!
The floor was always busy, as was the evening. Most people, including ourselves stayed until the end, which is very unusual for us.
A nice touch was having hand cleaner on the tables.
Could have done with having a couple more tables out, as there were a couple of spaces they could have squeezed them in, but I`m sure they would have done this, had they known it was going to be so busy.
It was good to catch up with some old faces who we haven`t seen in a long time, as well as meet lots of new people.
It is a shame this organisation isn`t doing anymore here this year..a real shame. |

I agree with everything stated above. I kept waiting for a track I didn’t like so I could sit down, but I just had to dance to the next one, then the next one . . .
Though it was a sticky night I actually got cooler as the evening wore on, the entrance and a side door were wide open as well as the windows. I danced a couple of times at the far end of the hall, expecting it to be so much hotter, to my surprise a huge fan kept that area just as cool.
Thanks for a great night. :D |

My partner and I went to this one - our first JnK freestyle. We had a great time and will be going back.
We liked the parking, the welcome, the venue, the space, the general relaxed atmosphere.
We had a few issues with the music though. The average pace seemed slower than we are used to. However it was good that there were very few of the blues-slow tracks that are becoming so common at other venues.
We also felt there were too many average pop tracks that just didn't inspire.
The only other thing was the cross-fading. It's really frustrating when a track with a positive end to it gets cross-faded into the start of the next track. I am at a loss to undersatand why any DJ would do that?
Over the evening we probably liked half the tracks but that's fine.
As I said we will be back! _________________ Andy |
