Early on it looked like it was going to be a very quiet night, but it picked up and although down on numbers from last month, there was no shortage of dance partners. Richard P played a great set of many of my favourite Jive tracks and I danced myself to a standstill. It was a great night for the ladies as, at one point I sat out a track and looked down the tables. There were NO ladies sitting out, they were all dancing and there were about 9 men sitting around. I don't think I have ever been to a Minstead freestyle before when the men have outnumbered the ladies! The tea, coffee, cakes and ice pops were once again in evidence and very welcome for that additional energy burst. I left a very tired but satisfied customer. Thanks guys.
