I always have such a good time at ALN it would be to easy not to bother to write a report but this fantastic venue deserves it. Here goes.

This venue has a Large dance floor, very good tonight after a few problems the time before with cleaning etc, all sorted and brilliant tonight. Lots of on site free parking. Mobile bar on site, Warm friendly welcome as normal with free sweets and fruit & veg as you come in. Numbers seemed a little down tonight but still busy with dancers from around the area and beyond, had dances with people from Bournemouth, Warminster and Andover areas as well as all the regulars from around the local area. On this note I was dancing the whole night with barely time to sit and socialise. There was the normal icebreaker class from Kev, pitched at a level needed on a social night like this. The moves were straightforward, easy to understand and all condusive to taking into your dance routine for the evening and beyond, I saw these moves being danced for the rest of the night. The music was a great mix for everybody, perhaps I am easily pleased but with the floor filled all night I think that just about sums it up, well done Andy. Floor etiquette OK with no noticeable problems with everybody friendly which as normal created a great Friday night atmosphere. I just wish these nights would never end as at !!.30 I always feel I want the night to go on and on, even as I am always the first in at 8.00!! Looking forward already to the 18th and the Saturday showcase here.

Have to agree with Riff Raff as a regular dancer at ALN myself these evenings never fail to impress,the music is always a very good mixture catering for all. Pleasant door staff upon arrival, ample parking Kev Hambrys warm up very good not too complex great value for money would definately recommend.
