Sorry to say it did not rock my boat...
I have no problem with venus where the turn out is low, often gives space to dance & can be a good evening.
Sorry to say I got bored..!
I had to return THREE FLAT PINTS to the bar, the staff really had no idea and then I actually had to ask the bar staff for my refund - shame the manager had to be involved but hey I was not the only one to receive FLAT drinks, yet nothing stirred the staff into sorting it out. (The bar staff I add)
Apart from that, the music was as good as expected & it is a nice venu with a fast floor.
Please feel free to voice your own comments - I think my comments justified.

Even though this event had nothing to do with us, we do use this hall and have a jive here on saturday 11th, so we were very concerned to hear of the bar problems. Up until now, we have always found the bar to be good.

I have emailed the lady who runs Wimborne and she has contacted the licensee of the bar and passed on my comments. He has replied saying that he was aware of a problem with the leomanade but not the beer. He has now called the engineer who will be comming later today to fix all the problems, so all will be well again for saturday. He will also be having a word with the bar staff. Apparently they had extra bar staff in due to a function in the other room.

Once again, I must point out that this was not a j'n'k night, but don`t want the hall getting a bad reputation, as it is a very nice hall and things normally run smoothly.

Hi Nigel,
As you know i feel very passionate as do my team about making our dance nights as good as we can, so it's always very saddening when something out of our control can upset the night for you or any one.
As Paul has kindly pointed out we both run nights out of this great venue and i have been also assured that the problem will be sorted as soon as possible.
So finally i would like to make it up to you Nigel 2nd of October is to be when we "BLING THE THING" Down at the allendale centre i'm sure all bar problems will be sorted by then so with chocolates and sparkles it is going to be an all out party, i will contact you direct and arrange a better experience than the last one if that ok.
