Well, I finally paid a visit to this midweek freestyle (and class). It's not a huge venue and there weren't a huge number of people there but it was very friendly, the floor was excellent and I had a very good night. The music wasn't all to my taste with quite a wide range . A couple of tracks were a bit monotonous with just a basic beat but some were excellent and lovely to dance to. The pace was mostly a bit slower than what I am used to Jiving to but I expected that and , actually, I really enjoyed it. It gave me a chance to try some slower moves and the general atmosphere was much more of a Jive party feel which made it very sociable. Apparently I missed a great Blues class held the week before but they will be held every first wednesday of the month starting in September so I may have to try one of those. So, thanks Kevin and Rux, and well done. _________________ "We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance."
