Having preferred in the past the last friday of the month freestyles at Minstead to the middle of the month ones, it was quite a surprise that this "Meltdown" was as good as the end of month ones. It was busy...not too overcrowded but there were a lot of dancers and plenty of partners to choose from. It was great fun. To my taste, some of the music lacked a bit of soul, but generally it was great to dance to. I danced almost non-stop all night and had a very good time. The usual sweets on the tables and the ice pops towards the end are always welcome. A very enjoyable night. _________________ "We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance."

I agree with Southern Jiver, a really good night. It goes without saying for me really as this is one of my firm favourites, I will always try to make a Minstead freestyle
I ate lots of sweets and ice pops and had some lovely dances, especially during the last half hour. I am starting to enjoy the slower music a lot more as I gain confidence. |
