...who entered the UK West Coast Swing champs at Weston this weekend just gone with there "Smooth Criminals" routine.

By all accounts, a lot of fun was had by everyone.

And they picked up third place as well. Very cool.

Now, I know there are vids floating around, hopefully I can get my hands on one or find it on youtube.

It was an amazing weekend. Each year just gets better. The French invaded on mass (about 30%). They have only had WCS for 3 years but it is so big there. The French have lots of enthusiam & little or no inhibitions. This makes for a powerful cocktail to build a great dance community.

We are very proud of our local team. None of them had done anything like this before. They have now seen the high standards and no what to aim for.

We felt we represented the ordinary dancers of all ages shapes & sizes to take on the the strong French invasion of very experienced young, fit, attractive dancers

We understood that at least 3 UK teams and 1 Scotish team were to compete against the French, so were supprised to find that on the day we were the only UK team to step up

4mins and it is all over, but what a journey. We have some great laughs and a few tears, but you can't help making strong bonds. We are so pleased that the team want to keep gong and do more. we can only get better:D

Me thinks...a bit of a celebration is in order tonight at Bramshaw.
