does anybody have any ideas about venues in & around poole or bournemouth suitable for modern jive classes, ideally to include on-site parking, integral bar to the dance floor (optional) large enough to accomodate around 100 dancers, also with the possibility to host freestyles on a monthly basis |

Oh Dear..Oh Dear.. Oh Dear.. H
Having not been dancing for a few weeks and feeling my feet have been cut off..!! I have been queitly reading the posts etc on here.. and I have to say.. Out of turn maybe.. But then so be it..I can take it.. If we dont stop slagging off the clubs and their organisers in this manner..1/We will end up having bouncers on the friggin doors!! and for guest viewers just having a look on the site.. Wont do any of the clubs any good, for seeing such negative comments.. and 2/ there then, won't be any clubs as they will fold and then we will have to find something else to slag off and moan about. As with television we have 100's of channels now to watch and if we don't like something then we change channel.. but we dont go on site and shout about it.. Feed back is good but it seems to have gone too far!!! Now I will shut up and hope to see more music choices and possible new venues etc.. DB |

Calm down, dizzybee, most of the comments here have been positive. The only negative ones seem to have been about the Pavilion and Ceroc Live's Richard is on here addressing the criticisms. Personally I think this is becoming a great forum for allowing people to express their opinions while giving the organisers an opportunity to reply to any criticism. I don't believe it's gone too far, I think you are overreacting. All this feedback, positive or negative can be used in a positive manner. At least the organisers can find out what people really think. When it comes down to it, Jivers will go to venues where they have a good time so it is in the interests of the organisers to provide enjoyable freestyles so the Jivers come back. So it's all good! |

Hi there.. Im laughing.. you sound like Michael Winner..!! and sounds like Ive touched a sore point!! Well as you say ALL comments are welcome.. I just felt sorry for Richard & Co' having all negative comments fired at them & Ceroc.. We dont go into our local pub and shop and start telling them how to run THEIR business..
Iv made a comment like everyone else.. and I dont see 'Calm down' on all their comments.. very unfair reply.. But I can take it.. Anyway hope your well and enjoying the snow.. No hard feelings eh. DB |
