Qdos's happy event has made me think about this. I can see both sides and would like to share my views with you.

The positive side has always been that you'll have something common to share. A hobby, if you like, to do together. An interest that both can enjoy. But dancing, jiving etc., is unlike other hobbies. Sometimes its close contact and sometimes can be intimate but its with the opposite sex, in the majority of cases. So jealousy might occur. You don't have to look any further than our beloved 'Strictly come dancing' to know all the pitfalls about dancing closely with someone for a while.

When couples split because of this, its natural to think that they would not be attending the same venue together. Or worse that they would give up dancing just to avoid one another. I've known cases like this and selfishly I have been gutted. There were a few ladies that I have known in my time that I would consider the most beautiful dancers ever. And because of the said situation I have not seen them again Crying or Very sad

So I say, can we get those who are thinking of starting a relationship with fellow dancers i.e. Qdos and Mrs Qdos, to sign a disclaimer stating they will continue to dance at their regular venues no matter what. No matter how sad it turns out. How many CDs were split. How many boxes of tissues were used. They would still give the regular dancers a couple of dances each night.

Indeed it works both ways too. If they are in love then they would still continue to dance at their regular haunt. Otherwise I think its just rude and unthoughtful and lacking in feelings for others Laughing
