That’s right, no endless rounds of competitions to sit through when you could up enjoying yourself dancing, else why did we learn to dance in the first place!
DanceSwingUK has a proven track record in promoting social WCS dancing. Our regular weekly dance classes teach it, Our Freestyles (some of the most popular in the UK) reinforce it. When we tell you the focus of our event is on sociality with lots of freestyle fun you know that’s the very least you’ll get!
We also have proven track record in WCS dance instruction. So when we say have some of the world's very best WCS Instructors on offer over, you know you can believe it!
With all this teaching talent we are excited to be able to offer you three choices of workshops at our event. Each track is customized for your individual needs. We have asked our pro instructors to tailor classes for your level. If you are a beginner, we have special activities and instruction that will have you dancing Friday night, If you are an advanced dancer that usually only takes privates or competes, we think we will have something special for you to help you achieve the next level in your dance. Feel free to give us input on what you want to see. We will be asking you to grade yourselves as one of the following 3 categories to help us make your weekend the best it can possibly be.
Beginners: Begin your dance journey, make new friends. Experience workshops just for you. Be able to dance your WCS basics by Friday night.
Novice/Intermediate: Improve your dance repertoire. Learn from national and international pros. Dance the latest, hottest patterns. Find your groove.
Advanced: Put it all together. Choose from our critique classes/seminars. Move beyond patterns; break through your own barriers.

This looks interesting .
Quickie question, since I only live up the road, is a non-residential option available as I don't really want to spend money on the accomodation when it's not necessary ?
And an unrelated question which I hope you don't mind, given this weekender in Bournemouth, and the multiple workshops at Romsey, is there a plan for weekly WCS classes in the Romsey/Soton area ? _________________ My local WCS dance guide: http://www.southernjive.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=726 |
